The Blue Marine Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and restoration of our oceans. It was founded with the aim of restoring a healthy and resilient ocean, on which both nature and humanity depend.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Blue Marine Foundation strives to ensure that at least thirty (30%) percent of the world’s oceans are effectively protected by 2030 and that the rest are sustainably managed. A healthy ocean is essential for biodiversity, food security, and the global climate. That is why the organization works worldwide on projects that revitalize and restore marine ecosystems.<\/p>

The foundation supports the establishment and protection of marine reserves, promotes sustainable fishing, and focuses on the restoration of vulnerable habitats such as coral reefs, kelp forests, seagrass beds and oyster beds. In countries such as the Maldives, the United Kingdom, the Caribbean and various regions around the Mediterranean, Blue Marine Foundation works closely with local communities, researchers, and policymakers to bring about lasting change.<\/p>

It\u2019s impact is considerable. Millions of square kilometers of ocean are better protected, and countless ecosystems are given the chance to recover. By combining scientific expertise with local involvement, Blue Marine Foundation demonstrates that nature conservation and sustainable use of marine resources can go hand in hand.<\/p>
