Maartje van Mulken

Maartje works as a tax lawyer at WLP-Law. Her focus is on the international aspects of corporate income tax and withholding taxes, and tax treaties. Since 2021, Maartje has been conducting doctoral research at the Tax Department of Leiden University. In tax law, the old adage ‘the sky is the limit’ is certainly fitting. The field of tax law is constantly changing and, as such, there is much to do, to discover and to learn, both for tax lawyers and for their clients. This is all the more evident in the current context of globalization and digitalization. Maartje’s academic background allows her to engage an approach that involves future-oriented and anticipatory thinking to help clients solve complex tax-related issues.
